The Koskers is Back.: After a Long time I find the pleasure to present the Koskers for you. Here are the nominations.

Namesake the movie : The movie that I was longing to watch since Months, finally the VCDs and the DVDs were out in the market, I was probably one of the very first ones to have grabbed a Print. The movie is good for those who haven’t read the Book. A lot of moments in the Book were missing in the movie. Like the Father-Son relationship was not well shown in the movie the way it was in the book. Anyways a good movie and we can call it a version of Mira Nair.

Ek Challis Ki Last Local: A good movie that was stretched , could have been better cutting down a few scenes here and there . A one time watch, with some good music. The movie revolves around a youth who is a call center employee dreaming big but, finds fortune one night after he is stranded missing the last local train. The performances were good, especially by Neha Dhupia and Abhay Deol.

Rattouille: An animation presented by none other than Waltz Disney. A great movie with a matured story that entertains all the age group and moves an adult into tears. With a profound thought behind the concept, I must admit that if bollywood has moved a step further towards improvement in quality of film making; Hollywood is nowhere stagnant, that is improving too. It’s a story about a Rat who has a god’s gift of Smell and an ability to cook, one who is immensely inspired by a renowned Chef from Paris. After a playful and living over the edge life at a small village, lands up at Paris due to an accident and finds himself in the restaurant of his Idol, The idol is not alive any more but is alive in the rat’s mind as an inspiration. The inspiration leads the Rat to the Chef’s abandoned son who is suffering from poverty and is the garbage boy at the same restaurant, helps him gain a position in the restaurant and recreate all the hidden and forgotten recipes of his Idol Chef., winning back appreciations from all the critics all over the world, but like every story has a Hero has a villain too , similarly this one has a villain who wants to hide the will written by the deceased according to which the ownership of the restaurant is supposed to be transferred to the boy presumably the son of the Chef. The Boy gets the ownership of the restaurant with the help of the Rat and also wins the heart of all the critics. The Best moment of the film is when the Critic Egor is reminded of his childhood and his mother after he tastes the special recipe that he orders with an intention to pull down the image of the restaurant and that also results in transformation of the character from evil to good unlike other animation of physically destroying the evil, Evil is a state of mind that can be killed and destroyed in one’s mind and not physically, one physical destruction will give birth to several evil mentality. The Movie is so well made that after coming out of the theater one doesn’t feel that he has watched an animated film, it just leaves an impression behind of a film that is so true, and has a profound meaning, that teaches and inspires you to follow your dreams and restores your faith in destiny.

Nothing else can I think of apart from movies, but the above mentiuoned are the best I have watched. So the award Goes to The Rat “ Rattoullie” Whooopppieee.

With the Start of EPL and the Spanish La Liga, the competition gets tougher from coming weeks.

I Am Back Driving Down The Lane!

A friend of mine has proudly announced herself to be a lazy Blogger, which quite implies a lot to me : yes, I am back after a long time with a bit of self improvement, and a slight sharpening of the tongue, like the way I used to be once upon a time. I am not a people pleaser anymore, but I do tend to hurt people, then I regret hurting them. The problem with me is I have a soft heart but a sharp tongue, a terrible combination to possess. Anyways forgetting what has happened in the past and remembering only the lessons learnt from them I am writing a new story altogether, . The start has been pretty good, with me getting my Mark sheets of my Bachelor’s degree, though they are not of my credit, some how I get a feeling that I have half the battle won, I will definitely get the degree with my own credentials, just waiting to amend certain things first. Got my Pet (My Computer) Repaired the last week, and I feel the other Quarter of the Battle is won. Now I just have to erect my finances, which of course will take some time. But the quality that I have learnt from one of my Maths Teachers is “Patience” for which I have worked hard. I hope this patience and hard work pays.

Since last one year weekends or Sundays were meant to stay back home, listening to some good old retro music and surfing the net and last but not the least avoiding all the calls whether from Friends Or foes or the solicitators. Yesterday I did something a little different from what I haven’t done since last several months and that I would love to do every weekends, Drive down all the way down till Churchgate with friends, watch a great movie at an old theatre, and spend some time at Worli sea face eating hot Kebabs and smoking Cigarettes, the only thing which was missing was a bottle of Bear or a Peg of Whisky and of course a wonderful Dinner. We did not have enough time to do all that were missing. But still , it was an Ideal Sunday for me. I also got a chance to peek in to my Past as I had to wait in front of the ‘Ruia College’ where I have studied , and I could see those lanes where I have Dreamt those unfulfilled dreams walking on the. The lanes were not empty, there was some one else instead.

As we drove down to the Town, we could see the empty and clean streets, shaded by huge trees and great architectures, which we would not have seen other wise, The same places that are normally Crowded with Traffic and people were empty and were wetted by the drizzles. It’s really a treat to watch them; Probable very few people will understand why I like the town area so much. I have something that pulls me over to that place, probably some great memories, and the things that pull me towards that is probably the search of those memories. I dwell too much into past some times, but sweet memories are never to be erased. They are to be endured. After a perfect evening with some great friends with whom I love to be with, I am back with myself and the pet of mine , sharing this experience with my shadow.

Contradicting Elements

Lately I have been quite disturbed with whatever is happening at work, The work Place is too noisy, which does not work with me specially when i am concentrating at work, and second is some illogical explaination which is not acceptable and expected from professionals. Moreover also an attitude to change the world if not i wont change attitude of some people have surprised me. In both the above cases, what i am witnessing is two contradicting elements of society, one that corrupts the society , and the other that reforms. The one who reforms, do not understnand that in orde to reform we need to jump into the polluted water and then try cleaning it. I hope they realise this soon, as that is a key to lead.

It has been a long time since i have posted my thoughts in this blog. I guess i have been lazy enough to Post something. Anyways finally i manage to find some time for my Shadow. Newys it was shocking to find the imatured quality in men and women i thought were the most matured of all. It was surprising to find that some can have real rough tongues, and they believe in pleasing people . They are good people, good friends, no doubt about it, they are helpful and ofcourse the first ones u think of when you are in trouble, They would never back stab, but they encourage the management to Lash at every one, They think what they do is eight, they work hard, but sometimes they cross the limits of Ethics and they forget what is ethical and what is not, Anyways , they are good friends of mine, they have a good heart and i love them for that. It has been rainy days with bad transportation in this city, where commuting and reaching at your workplace on time has been a big challenge. Keeping a cool temperament with managers has not been simple, The managers who think themselves as managers and not leaders, They get easily carried away by the easy and simple achievements and encourage those who cross all limits to get there, alas people who work really hard has no place in this world anymore, they do at few people's hearts and i guess that is important and essential.

Hey Its Raul's Thirtyeth Birthday and I wish him a Happy Birthday, and May God shower all his Blessings on him, and his family. Like they say in Spanish " Feliz Cumpliones".Last year i had scelebrated his birthday, i remember it weas not a a very good day though, he was playing for his national team agains France in World Cup Quater Finals, He was replaced in the second half and there is where Louis Aragones comitted a mistake. After he left his team just gave up to France with lack of Planning on the Field. I saw his fore cast last night, it is a good year and all the people like Aragones who tried to put him doen will learn a lesson. So Be happy and Enjoy.

Although I have done and seen a lot over the last two weeks these are the few events that have qualified successfully for the contender ship for Koskers.

Namesake- the Novel, a lot has been spoken about in my previous posting about this book. . Though Jhumpa Lahiri has a lot of areas of improvement as a writer, the Novel does leave you thinking, about a lot of things, Specially Gogol who is left with no one in the end that will remind him about his memories about his childhood which is better in compared to the lifestyle that he refuses to accept but also finds it hard to blend with the traditional culture. All he is left with a Book that he was gifted on his fourteenth Birthday by his father, the collections of short Stories by Nikolai Gogol. I had once heard a saying “By the time a son realizes his father was right he is already a father.” In Gogol’s case, he is not even a father, but yes he has lost a lot of opportunities, when he could have been with his family at the right time, to be their support. Waiting to watch the movie.

Chini Kum – A great movie with some brilliant acting by Tabu and Amitabh Bachchan. The Big B was accused recently of taking his Mega stardom for granted, and expecting the audience / fans to accept whatever he does by crossing boundaries in the movies like “Nishabd” . He has proved in this one, that he is just using his talent, proving that the director fails in Nishabd to have conveyed the message in a different format . You can also connect yourself with the story easily, sometimes we do come across situations where in we hoped or wished that we would have asked for something else other than what we actually had. And of course the highlights of the Film are the comic and witty dialogues between the powerhouse Tabu and Big B’. Delhi being shown no less in compared to London, which is also an important factor in the movie.

“Fantastic Four and the rise of the Silver Surfer”- Of course an Entertainer, like one said, it takes you on a roller coaster ride. Amazing visual effects and some great looking actors like Chris Evans and Jessica Alba. The best part of the movie is character selection, The Actor Chris Evans who is Hot, has been the right choice for his character. He has been dragging attentions, the Next Tom Cruse of Hollywood.

Ocean’s Thirteen- George Clooney and gang is back for another bang. Not as great as the first part, but is a great entertainer, the one factor that is missing in the third one is the perfection in the detailing unlike the previous ones. But one good thing, the director did not commercialize this one by incorporating big star like he had done in the previous or the second sequel. The focus was not lost.

Sa Re Ga Ma/ Indian Idol/ Sa Re Ga Ma Pa- These Shows have drawn all the TRPS and is a huge hit in the Indian Television. But one thing we have all notices lately is that the Rifts and the heated arguments between the Judges, and the Mentors fighting with the Judges, disputing their decisions. I still remember Sa Re Ga Ma, when it used to come in Zee hosted be Sonu Nigam, the Show then was truly based on Music. And whatr great talents like, Shreya Ghoshal and Abhijeet are the products or the discoveries of that show. Indian Idol has changed the meaning completely by showing the entire selection process right starting from the talent hunt, Now nothing wrong in that but, that aspect has now carried forward, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa which is supposed to be an improvised version of Sa Re Ga Ma, is more popular for arguments, and the mentors talking about themselves more than talking about the contestant, the contestant ends up being in a nowhere situation. The improvisation was supposed to be for the betterment of the show, now it is turned up for the betterment of the TRP, After all its all Money Honey. “TRP hai to show hai”. Even the competitions like Voice of India. They all are more famous for the arguments rather than the talent hunt. Adesh Shrivastava Accusing Alka Yagnik of giving wrong decision and hence being an incompetent singer. Come on guys learn to respect the talent. This culture has gone up to an extent of exposing ones character rather than the art that they are popular for. In Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Bangla, Shilajeet went to an extent of asking the Judges if Lata Mangeshkar was a perfect singer. Taking the argument on a different tangent. And the latest trend on this show is of a Mentor, Well that is good, but the mentor rather than helping the contestant on song selection , ends up defending the contestant for not performing. Gone are the days when we knew Kishore Kumar Only as a singer, similarly RD Burman as a Music Director, we had to readf the gossip colums to find out about their personal nature and their life. Its all open now. Earlier when we saw an Amitabh Bachchan Movie, we never knew Amitabh as a person, we knew him as an actor, today the Media is so strong that when we watch a movie of Amitabh Bachchan it is nothing new, we have watched him in so many interviews, in Ads and also in News channels surrounded with controversies. But there are actors who have still kept the the trend , like Amir Khan And Akshay Khanna. Its exciting to watch them on screen, well both the culture I am talking about on stars , have their own Pros And Cons.

Real Madrid wins the Spanish La Liga Title- Wow what a nail biting finish of the Spanish football season, even the Cricket world cup this year has failed to draw attention. I had people who never watched Real Madrid Play earlier watching them and wanting them to win. Yes they did win , and what a victory, this time it was not Beckham , Ruud Or Raul Or even Casillias, It was Reyes in the Finals. Its sad that the Great Player Reyes might go to the Atletico at the Start of the next season. It was only him who gave us the victory. And Yes Raul dada did climb the fountain celebrating the Victory.

So the Kosker goes to Real Madrid Vs Malorca, Where Real Not only won the Match but also the Title, a Much deserved win , for the club as well as for the liga, as the Liga was slowly drawing towards monotony with Barcelona winning consecutively. So as I mentioned in my previous posts. The best was saved for the last.

On a Vacation

To Begin with I would like to correct a friend of mine, who had described the current Mumbai Weather as England Weather. Probably the Correct term would be ‘London Weather’, whatever, as far as she was successful in expressing her feelings … But I do agree with her, I have been very lazy lately to walk down till the cyber café and updating my blog, as I have already repaired my Computer at home. Soon I will have an internet connection to let me do all the required updating at home, as its more comfortable when you are at home, your thoughts flow easily here as there are no time constraints. Also I make may plan, going to Sidhivinayak temple, going to Vashi to enroll in one of the corresponding courses, but then when I look out of the window I end up doing nothing but watch television. But it is a nice way to spend my holidays, unlike a few years back when this gloomy weather used to drive me crazy to make plans for a picnic at Lonavala and spending a lot in Booze and eating at big restaurants and increasing the Credit card bills.
So like on every holidays, getting up late these days is become a habit, having good delicious food cooked by my Mom, and then having an afternoon nap, getting up and getting ready , Catching an auto for this newly opened Shopping Mall and Theater Gallery at Palm Beach , reaching there one hour before the show begins, buying the tickets and spending about 45 minutes in my favorite store “Odyssey” Its meant for Book lovers, Toy lovers and also manage to find some leather accessories and a music library. The best part of the store it is built up in a fairly big area leaving enough room for the customers to roam around looking for books, they have amazing collections right starting from , Classics to Non-Fiction, Philosophy , Fiction and Books on Cookeries. You Name it. Love spending time surfing there; manage to read some reviews written about every book at the back side of the Book Cover page. And also buying if I like something, I have recently bought “Namesake” by Jhumpa Lahiri and Short Stories by O’ Henry. He is the one whom I have read a lot in my School days. Especially the story “After Twenty Years” is my favorite of all his stories.
I have been on a Vacation since last four days, and though I had planned to read Kane and Able, which is pending since years now, is yet again left undone, it does not upset me as such. Because I know one day I will read it, as I have read Alchemist, and Namesake. Namesake is the most recent Novel I have read, it talks about ABCD, ‘An American Born Confused Desi’ , the Novel, though could have been a little better with more focus Asthma’s life as well and her reactions to the large cultural transformation seen in her Son, the impact and his inability to Adapt either of the cultures accurately. The novel has definitely left an impact on me and has left me thinking about my future, how would I like to bring up my kids when I get them in future, Slowly Mumbai is following the American way and we are getting drawn towards the so called American Lifestyle of staying alone and loose control, Probably we Indians are tired and no more want to live a life that is controlled or constrained by our elders. The entire concept of Joint Family, in our Parent’s Time had undergone a revolution and the Joint Family Concept got reduced into a much smaller concept of a Nucleus family. I remember watching Chat shows, TV serials, Hot Discussions, Topic of group discussions those days on this. No more is that topic Hot, as our generation has brought in a new revolutionary concept of Individualism. It is important that every individual first respect himself, has a self respect and dignity, Is educated enough to support him/herself. Unfortunately this extremely thoughtful and pure concept has been magnified so much so that people have turned individual centric these days, I don’t see anywhere compromisation, soon this word will be only in the Corporate dictionary. The meaning of a family was giving each other a helping hand, complementing each other, and most importantly supporting each other leaving all the egos behind. I recently saw a woman in my company who had cesarean and joined back the company in a few weeks time, leaving her infant behind. How can a mother be so career centric, the concept of womanhood is completely lost? Some women show they are extremely traditional by not eating Non-vegetarian food, but they do have the habit of smoking and drinking, they feel that is cool and that grabs some attention. But truly that attracts a man for sometime, to find some easy way out for satisfying oneself sexual need. Are Women of today’s generation happy with only that much?? Where is all the dignity? And most important of all where is womanhood? Where is Abstinence? Has the entire concept of sharing, caring and fun in adjustment drained out?
So the Joint Family reduced to nucleus family then reduced down to an Individual resulting in several failed marriages and relationship breakings, hence causing mental depression and addictions, my question is what next??? What will my Kids or the next generation reduce themselves to? I want to give them best of education and craft their personality to such a strong one that they will not get distracted to something so degrading. Hope I am successful.

The Monsoons, Traffic Jams and Mumbai City.

The Monsoons have finally arrived in full Swing and its rain ing Cats and Dogs outside. The season arrived exposing some drawbacks of this city yet another year, The Government , that dreams to turn this city into Shanghai in a few years time has a lot of Work to do inorder to turn it back into the Mumbai City the way it was a few years ago. Clean , Well organised, and handle all the natural calamities with ease. Today, Our city faces issues like the Waterlogins during rain, Dense traffic Jamns, Terrorist threats , Underworld influence, and politicians ego, All these aspects are exposed during the rainy seasons. But Nothing can match the beauty of Mumbai CVity during Rains, whether it is the seas side walk at Marine Drive, or the Late Night Empty roads that is washed by the rain waters, the roadside Tea stalls, and the lovely man Made Beauty of thew Hiranandani Complex Powaii , during the rains, giving a devine feeling with the viewof the Roman, Greek and Gothic Architecture recreated by none other than Hafiz Contracter.Mumbai still has its own Charm during the Rains, the City rains had once inspired the Great Poet Rabindranath Tagore to pen down the beauty of the season in his poem in the most intriquete form.

Koskers again

The contenders for Koskers could have been the match Between Real Madrid and Real Zaragoza. The match had all the components, some fiery on the Field Real Madrid Performance and some equally fierce counterattack from Real Zaragoza, Both the components leading to a Nail Biting Finish, But was a shame on the part of Real is they had to heavily depend on the Barca performance , a Match between Barcellona and espanyol, another nail biting match at Camp Nou that FINALLY WENT AS A DRAW. That is a great shame, Capello is a great coach, but I disagree with his decision of Keeping Dierra and Guti on the field and substituting the great performers like Robinho and Raull!! Not because of my soft corner for Raul, of course that is there but still, Raul was missed on the ground with his excellent finishes with those world class headers, he has really been a Key player this season, Guti was the wrong choice. And substituting Robinho was not right either. Capello was repenting at one time , I am sure when a lot of conversions were not done in front of the Goal Post. And Real had dropped down at the third position at one time, this was the game they should have one… a Shame !!!!!

Indian Idol!! Finally the Eleven Faces are out there, have crossed all the huddles and now they are ready to Fight the battle with each other with only one weapon , their voice… Pooja is the one who is amazingly talented , and sings from her heart, My Favourite , Of all the girls the one who is a student of Ravinder Jain , is out of the contest, she is truly good, I have no idea why the Judges and the Indian Public do not agree with me. Anyways amongst the Boys, of course Emon is the best and Chang and Prashant are good. All the three best are from Calcutta Auditions, My City and My Heart. Pooja, Jolly and Smitha are all from Calcutta. Six people hailing from Kolkata are in the Finals this year, God@!!! Got to keep a close tab on the show. I was never was all these years.

The Apprentice,, A side of Donald Trump which I truly hate was seen on the last episode when Aron was Fired, his quality of Insulting people, well not exactly, in true sense being Blunt on the face, is something that I did not like, however I guess he has the right, the man whatever he has done has turned out to be right and has emerged successful in this era. A salute to Mister Trump…


And the award goes to Of course Indian Idol,, like isaid earlier the best is yet to come of Real Madrid and am saving this award for them and their best moment, as for the apprentice, the same thing , will wait until it reaches the Final Stages.

Encounters

Finally the monsoons are hear, well almost, at least we can hear their Knock at the door, giving some relief to the immensely heated up Mumbai City. To my surprise some satisfaction at the work place with the little appreciation towards my hard work. Busy with daily routines, you get up, go to office, put on that fake smile, and deal with all the pain in your life, including the back ache and of course the so called social headache. The mistake committed by some one else on me, was committed by me with some one else. It was like the low scale De-ja–Vu. You must be surprised about the entire concept of the low-scale Dé-jà-vu. It is just that I had to be harsh and blunt in my actions , for a change not my words, with some one who had started expecting a bit too much out of me, and specially those who think they are too cool , but the reality is , they are the same Bimbos without the Blond Hair. Some one had truly said , the Blond Factor in a Bimbo is a mere coincidence. “What De-ja-Vu”? Because I had encountered the personality in them with what I had dealt with three long years in my previous organizations. The same fashion Conscious overspending people, though I am one of the over-spending lot, I’ m trying to overcome that part of me and refrain from spending too much on worldly pleasures bought in the expense of swiping a Credit card. “Spread your Blanket as far as your legs can stretch” is the New Mantra of my life. “Give or share you gyan with only those worth sharing it “, is the other Mantra, coz no one appreciates that, people have a laugh on it and a topic of Discussions that will drive them crazy with the Hysteric Laughter session. Ok I am Glad that some looser gets the opportunity to think him as the smarter one!!! But enough of that, It sounds good to saying it to yourself to overcome the agony. Otherwise!!!@@@@**! So having decided that I won’t share my Gyan with anyone anymore, I choose to avoid people who do not follow the same Ideologies. “What’s wrong with that? All colors do not give the same hue after all!!!?” Well the answer is yes, you cannot expect to be compatible with each and every one you meet, after all that is called adjustment, But I do not have to spend my entire life with them,, so why the adjustment??? Just respect that person and walkout quietly, before god comes a human, better respect the human for what ever he or she is. Another Genre of people that I had encountered the last week, the follow the “Chanakya Tactics”, the tactics of the man who had written “Kootshastra” which talks about modern politics. Smile at every one and every time you smile you have a motive bend the smile, you have motive behind expressing your friendship, no harm, I understand the opposite’s point of view, a girl coming to a town like Mumbai to make a mark of her own, staying alone and supporting the family, wins my greatest respect for her, but what I do not appreciate is the confused state of mind that fails to balance between the right and the Wrong, and goiung a bit overboard with the wrong… She needs to learn a lesson in life, she is only one experience away . Though I am a person who is comparatively honest in expressing my views like a few other, which sometimes people Label as ‘unprofessional’, but I am ok with that, probably that is the only thing which has kept me away from my success, but I am happy with it. I can live my entire life with or without success, I have a dream, to see those places in the world that were built by some great people in the Past , that shouts and tells us their stories, the walls speak out loud, as what they have witnessed ages ago. The places are Egypt, Rome, London and of course Paris and Madrid. And visit some beautiful locations from India, of both tourist and pilgrimage importance. Having Done that I can rest in Piece, oh God! Please give me strength so that I can be at all the above mentioned places. Please refrain me from this pain and ailment that I am going through!! Amen’

Spideman 3- Not just another sequel as the name sounds. the best thng about the Spiderman series is that , It deals with the age old subject of Good Vs The Bad, Or The Wright Vs The Wrong in a Very Matured way. Its definitely an adaptation of the commic that we have read when we were kids , but its far more intense than that, the best part is the Direction and the way the subject is handled. the third sequel , deals with Spiderman The Godd Vs Spiderman the Evil. In The movie it is shown that afteall Spiderman is a human, who can get easily tempted towards the wrong , but how he manages to choose between the Wrong and the right, the dillemma he goes through, his concern for his friend and their friendship, this definitely teaches you a lot. I would call it a Modern day Epic.

A bit disapointed with Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, the singers have not been upto the mark, considering the fact that Talent like Shreya Ghoshal is a Discovery of this A decade old Contest. however both have been good entertainers this summer.

Rising Temperature!! Falling Images, High Expectations, Low performance, Traffic Jams, Lonely LIfe, Meeting old people, Kicking out some from my life, Hard Luck with money, Great fortunes and talllents on Television!! seems like life is full of opposittes this summer. Deteriorating health concerns me and has kept me away from Blogging quite sometime now. Koskers at standstill.so i sit today with a wish to comlete all the assignments related to my Blog. With all the rising extremes these summer, the Rain God has been generous this week bringing down some showers on Red hot earth, that brought some relief to the heat, but also exposed some loopholes and concerns in traffic and road management in Mumbai City, this is fourth yeear in a row, no sollutions to a lot of problems. constantly poring people from different corners of the country toi the city in search of a fortune has lead to an increasing population, pollution and mismanagement. Lot has been mentioned in papers, so no more of it noww.... the best solutions is to remove a people out of the city, which is highly imposible. Any ways , a simillar thing had happened in my personal life. My life had turned into the this mumbai city, with a lot of people that were not required, hence i decided to infilkter them and kick out the unwanted. It was a crucial decision to have swiped my card last week, to pay back the debt that was the only connection between me and some of my friends, so called friends,,.. but when i think about it now, i think it was the right decission. its better to cut off the only connection specially when the connection is monetary. I feel relieved. And now i have become lighter in many terms. A recent deterioration in my health condition , had compelled me to take some off from my work and ceate some problems at my workplace, however meantime i have been following these mUSICAL CONTESTS LIKE the "Indian Idol" and " sar Re Ga Ma" one thing is very prominent these days, The people of today are more blunt and straight forward. Like Bappi Lahiri, the humble man has a unique style of criticising people, by first pinting out the good things and then letting them know about their week links. But yes the man appreciates every one. On the other hand we have Annu malik and Vishal and Shekhar , who bluntly tell that you were bad. I dont know which one is correct, but i feel that Humanity comes first, and constructive criticism is must... its important that you do not hurt any one by your remark as that can kill an art or a dream and aspirations within oneself. We must let the aspiration burn and never let it extinguish.

The worst weak ###

It was a great day,almost perfect, a big smile on my face looking at the bank balance, finally i was able to save something,and do something good out of it. I wanted to buy a monitor for my system, after allmy PC is my baby. I thought i will keep the money and save it untill next month. So i went on a walk at the same place where i find a lot of space formyselfand spend some time alone, but i guess some people do not like others happy and cant see you sitting peacefully. they hit you , make you say stuff that you are not, make you feel like the filthiest creatrure on the earth and eye on the small savings that you have made and take away the smile that you had earned the hard way, and you encounter the worst nightmare of your life . they rip you off till you beg for your life and dignity....It was the worst moment ofmy life and willalways be one,, i pray to god i dont see any of thosemore...are you there ohh GOD are listening to me,,aremy prayers reaching you????? please oh god!!give me an indication that you have not let them unheard, i do believe in one factor.. All that happens happens for the best... i hope this one is for the best....and the worst is prohibitted. As far as the koskers is concerned, that has to be sielent this week as it has to moan on my distress

Downtime Dhamaka - A Breakk!!!

When Life is Hectic, and you are constantly driven towards achieving your target.When you are exhausted of the monotonous job , the best thing that you can get is abreak.and if the Break is for four and a half hours as a downtime during your work hours then itsss wonderfull!!! We had a system failure on monday when the entire Collections Outbound team was Logged out and every one of us were outside the office having a gala time, unfortunately we did not know that we would have such a big downtime hence wehad be in the office premises waiting for the systems to restart, otherwise we would have planned out something , anything like going out for a can of Bear... anyways we still managed to have some great fun, Playing at the X-Box and Hanging out at the cafeteria , and ofcourse clicking some good snaps with friends. Well, after a long time comes a perfect hindi movie, Good music, Amazing locations, some action and loadz of emotions.... Ta ra rum Pum has something to offer to every one. I loved the movie inspite of reading a few negative reviewsabout the film. I respect their thinking but probably they have not dealtwith the situations that could have related them with the movie. The basic message of the filmis for the youngsters of today living in the fast and easy world of Credit cards, PersonalLoans and EMI....these are the viruses that is spreading fast and destroying the future of the youngster, Mainly callcenter guys are getting affected by this pretty soon, Its a must watch for al the youngsters to learn the consequences of these viruses. I have been the main victim and have been suffering since last 6 months with repayments of the debt, hence, i couldrelate myself to themovie easily. Aprt from that, Rani And Saif were amazing together, how well they compliment eachothers histrionics. Its a treat watching them together and ofcourse full marks to Saif, who is emerging as aserious actor, he has already proven himself, he is just strenthening the base now. And of all its a Yash Chopra Film, They really do have an Attitude and style,noonein this industry can match their creativity.... Full Marks to you and we do wanna watch some more of Saif - Rani Duo in future....keep going.....

Real Madrid Vs Atheletic Bilbao ( Spanish Primera Liga)- A great mtch , a highscoring match,,,, Ruud Van Nistelroy scores another twi goalbringing up his total count of goals to 1, in this season.Real Madrid won the match by 4-1 against the Basque team. Great match, And my favourite Raul,had some great contributions as the forward, andofcourse Beckihamthe legend..... But the concern is Beckham will not be playing the next match against SIvilla, that will be a crucial match as Sivilla isapoint ahead of real, Real needs to defeat sivilla this weekend to strengthen their position in the nd place just behind Barcelona.Real has a great chanceof winning the league this year... And the amazing thing is,the way Real is performing, they are absolute champs... the team bonding and the pass, and ofcourse Cannavaro and Sergio Ramosdoing great job at the Defence.

Who ever knows me , also knows my fanatism towards Real Madrid and Raul. The Two R's. Even though India is not doing very well in cricket, which has definitely disapointed me , has not left me completely upset, as there is my favourite Football Team " Real Madrid" that is doing really good. They are currently second in the La Liga, and stand a good chance winning this season. Their Next Match is against Atheletic Bilbao and i am really excited about watching this match tonight, Specially for My Captain Raul. The match against Athletic Bilbao on Sunday will be his 601st, the same number of games Hierro played with the Whites. He will be four games short of Gento, Sanchís and Santillana are still in the lead, but he is only 29 years Old.If he scores in Bilbao he will equal Santillana's 186 League goal count. That would Indeed be a great acievement for a great player like him. Raul was out of form and had a 14 months Goalless streak. Critics had written him off, his several Fan clubs were stopped, and he was poured with not so pleasent comments. But i am really proud that slowly and steadily this man is getting back to what he was and what he is, A Champion of all Champions. I really Pray to god that they win, and if they do then ofcourse they win the "Koskers" for this weekend. Talking about the Koskers, it is a tough competition this week. The real Madrid Match is Pitted against the movie " Tara Rum Pum" looking forward to watch the movie, after a long time , i am spending some time with my parents this sunday, we are doing what we like doing, eating chicken, having ice creams and watching a movie at the Theatre and ending the day with a great Real Madrid Match, Sounds perfect!

Bidding Adeau!!!

Last week was a week full of disapointments, week full of mixed reactions, Friends parting their ways, friends reuniting., seems like life is a perfect balance. A week when lithargy was at its peak. Some of my friends left for US, they did not have the courtesy to even let me know that they had an opportunity, as if i am the one who would cast some black magic spell on their happyness, i have shared every moments of my life , good or bad, happy or sad with these people, the saddest thing is people whom you give so much of importance and worth to have shared so much with them, do not find you worth of sharing their moments with you. You feel like you are nothing. I had left all my hopes and had accepted this fact that i am all alone in this world. The importance i give to people, no one even give you back an atom of its worth. But the hope still floated, that some where within their herat and mind, I am still there, I feel myself as an emotional beggar to have expected even that much from these people. So it is my turn to show them what i am to a stranger. I am walking away from your lives, from your heart, and throwing way all the attachments that i had ever kept with you.All i will carry with me are your memories captured in the camera. I am the backpacker, it is my turn to pack the bags now. Goodbye my friends , have a great life.


On the other had it was great catching up with some old friends and spending a quality early morning , like they way we used to sometime back. It was great reliving those memories. I feel sad that i am not able to spend the same kind of time with them, There is a lot that i cannot explain. There is a lot that cannot be explained and there is a lot that they wont understand, its all about the different background that we come come from, it is all about the different upbringing that we had, it is all about the friendship that sees no religion, no class , no cast and no creed. all it knows is binding people together. I hope you will understand that someday, and forgive me for whatever wrong that i have done, it is wrong according to you. But i trust me guys , according to me it is All Correct, that is the way it should be.

Breakkkkkk!!!

The Best thing that happened to me the last week was , when i received a Mail from My friend In Delhi. The Mail Had Two CDs, They were of the Photographs taken at the Recent Kerala Trip In the month of January. It was wonderfull re-living those moments at kerala. Specially The Kerala Trip was great that had helped me to forget a lot of things that i had been a victim of, and make some new friends out there. Sunkissed Beaches, Huge water-falls, elegant Back waters , Big Houses , Beautifull Churches and Tall Palm Trees makes this A Land truly a heaven, and inhabitted by good human beings. Those sleepless Nights spent in drinking at Yogi's Terrace, those loud debates while we were drinking, and those Midnight long Drives towards the highway, and ofcourse the Boating at a river in allapey and the Back water rides were the most memorable and the appiest moments of my life. .Here are a few Pix of my trip to Kerala.Every one deserves a break like this one in their life, i wish you all get one!!!!!!

Mistakes.

We make mistakes. we learn after we realise that we have made one. We learn our lessons the hard way and we make a huge blunder by repeating them. Lately i have been very careless with my spending habits , which was quite under control for last two months. also i had this habit of loosing my temperature pretty soon and at regular intervals. Lately i can feel the 'loose control' in my temper once again. My unnecessary breakout the other day that had a mixed emotion, a disapointment of overspending on food and on travelling that day, and a bit of jelousy on one of my colligue for stealing the limelight for performance. The reason is it was always me stealing the limelight in my Previous organisation, somehow the drive is lost somewhere. that hunger and urge to collect more and more is missing, the more i try to gig and excavate the more i tend to get lost. i think a little more analysing is required . Let me build my basics strog at the first place, but i am getting impacient as the day passes by. i need to take a backseat once again . . . Need to take Deep breath and move forward...

A Weekend Of Great Cinema.

Some of the Great Moments From the movie " Sound of Music"- When Maria starts blushing after an Austrian Ball Dance with the Captain, and the Captain's Fiance taunts her by saying" look at you you are all red ", Maria knows she is from a nunnry and is confused whether to be a nunn or to lead a happy married life. She leaves the Captain's house and the children only to get maried married to the captain after having a discussion with her head nunn. "Do a Dear" , I am Sweet Sixteen ", and " These are the few of my favourite things" are Songs that have created history and the movie would always be remembered for these songs.

Sweet Nanny " Julia Andrews. Her first movie Mary Poppins, is a vision and fantasy of young children being deprived of parental love even after staying with their parents, due to their over ambitious nature. Jlia one of my favourite actresses plays the part with great cham. the most memorable scene is when The Nanny Mary starts removing all kinds of stuff from her bag while unpacking, like the huge Hat-Stand, A Mirror and a huge Flower pot. This surprises the children, and put them ino suspicion. The Song " Chim- Chimney and " a Spoonfull of Sugar" leave a mark in your mind

" Growing up is the best experience in one's life. The Adoledcent phase where every one becomes a bi derailed from their goal and motivation , but the experience is sweet and wonderful. The story of a few friends comming from low profile family bacground but huge dream f being succesful, J Jeeta Woh Sikander is worth a place in the History of Indian Clasics. A story of a Boy who gets dstracted by Beauty and money and starts lving in the world of Fantasies returns back after being face to face with reality. The boy who wants to be successful but does not knw how turs into a man with a strong determination and goal. the transition shown is impeccable. " Pehla Nash", and the title track mesmerizes till the core and not forget " Jawan ho aaro" a real life Song .

Last Weekend i was all alone with no Phone calls from my friends or foes, No Last minute plans to go out on a party or for a dinner. Though the fact that no one remembered me last weekend does bother me, Am i wrong somewhere? did i do something that would hurt someone?, no gave me an explanation, I need one , i deserve one to know where exactly i went wrong. I wish they all call me up and atleast let me know what is the area of improvement. If i am your friend i deserve another chance. It is not that no one called me at all. Anil did, He invited me for a lunch at his place back at Kalyan. The thought of travelling far made me feel sick as i do it every day when i have to travell all the way till Malad for my Office. So i politely appologised for not making it. So what do i do??? i have a CD and DVD collection of Old-Classic and New movies. I Sat back watching Classics like " Mary Popins" ," The Sound Of Music" and " Jo jeeta Wohi Sikander". These movies bring memories dating back to my Old school days. I have grown up watching them, i have grown up Listening to their Music. And i have some excellent memories attched with these movies. like for example, Sound of Music was shown in ur College" at Ruias. We had this Ruia Film Society and i was a member of this society. Every wednesday we had a movie screened a classic or an Art Film, but good ones. I still remember how me and gauri a good friend in college had bunked lectures o watch "Sound Of Music" later i also made some great friends in the society, some truly intellectual friends, that made me feel proud of their companionship. Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander reminds me of my summer Hollidays at my Grand Mother's place when i was in School. And a great time that i had with my Cousins watching these movies. Movies, Music , and Novels. though they take u to a different world all together, to teh world of Fantasies, they Do play a crucial role in our lives.

Mischief!!!!!!

Amidst of all the storm and battle going on in my mind some where inside my brain always flourishes new ideas and ways of playing mischief with people. you play prnks on people whom you either like or dislike. in this case it was towards the "Like " side. A beauty in my batch whose husky voice has always haunted my thoughts, was my next scape-goat. this girl is beautiful, she knows it but , unlike many she never flaunts it, the greatest asset that she has got is her Scissor-Sharp tongue. She can make you feel miserable in front of many with that killing comment that she makes, but we are getting used to it, so we dont get bothered by that. That is Accceptance. A mistery has always wrapped her across that indicates that she has been through a phase that has just added some maturity in her thoughts. Anyways i took a new number recently and as i was messaging all my friends to update their phone book with my new number, i came accross the number of a friend who is bubbly and kiddish by nature and has witty dialogues at the tip of her tongue that can embaress you and make you feel like apiece if shitt!! in front of many. unlike the 'scissor-sharp tongue " The bubbly Girl" will always impress you with her down to earth and a care-free attitude. she walks as if she does not care who owns the world and she never cares if the dress that she has put on is enhancing her beauty or just making her look funny. A girl that has some life , A highly educated woman who shows her education with her actions and not by just going ga ga about it!! truly impressive . so i came accross her number and i sent her a message saying \" i am missing your friend ( the Sharp tongueed one" and that i dont have her number hence i have to message you" . i could not wait for the reactions to come once i reach office. So i reached office and i was so busy at work that i forgot about it after letting a friend of mine know about the prank./ After i reach home i get a message from the "Sharp- Tongue" \\\ " i am reporting this number to the Malad police station whoever you are" for a moment i was scared but i i just messaged her back saying "dont worry i have a friend whose mom is in police". The next day i got a feed back from my Gang who were laughing at the incident as the 'Sharp-Tongue' Girl was offended and she actually called up the police station to report my number, however by the grace of god since i had one of my friends educated about my prank , i was saved as he stopped her from escalating the issue further to the police as it was sent by me one of their friends.!!1 huhh still the Mischief Bug inside me never dies. and will never die..

Whining

Well a Friend in her blog has mentioned about whining, i think she should get over it..... She indeed is whining since long.... but what i have been doing ??? the same thing almost ... that is if u check my posts related to my personal life.... So i have decided ...... No More Whining ... instead fight .... fight like brave man..... BE A MAN and NOT A HEADACHE. sounds good right..... if she ever reads my blog she might feel my whining is on the same grounds as hers... well i have long forgotten them , i fighting a different battle all together, trying to reconstruct the broken roads, Lately a lot of people had opposed muy decission to join 3G, I felt it was a hasty decission to join that company just for the sake of money. Sometimes life makes you do thing\s that you would never want to do,,, however sometimes life makes you do things in spontainity, which turns out to be the right decission. though i sound litlle confused , i know better that i am not. All i have to say is sometimes you need to take a several steps backwards in order to speed yourself ahead. And i have done exactly the same. The battle is still on!! but i am getting a vision though still blurred out but a vision of victory at this point. but cant take a back seat since i have not yet won it. I am currently on a detour, but have already decided upon the path that i need to follow. i just pray to god that it leads me to victory. At this entire process, some of my friends have been a great mental and monetary support to me. I would never forget them, no matter how many road blocks i face in order to save them out of Soup ( God Forbid!) i will always be with them. This phase has been like a filter and a Catalyst to detect and choose the right kind of people eligible to be friends. Lately i am surprised by the kind of support that i have been getting from my mother. But i am really not liking the process that she is going through, i know it is a tough time for her. One thing i am greatful is after that episode , my parents have never questioned me about where have spent the lacs of money i have taken in loan. I hope godess Durga gives me more power andenergy to sustain this crucial phase of this battle and give me victory to lead a great life ahead. I am Positive!!!!!!!!

The Black World Cup!!!!!

2007 Cricket World Cup at the Carribean Islands is indeed a Black World Cup.I was discussing the same with a friend other day, he asked me a question, "Is it a "Black World Cup" as India is out of the tornament? " I said no , it is a Black World Cup as Indai is out of the tournament in the first round and that too being Knocked out of the tournament by the team like Bangladesh and guess what ??/ they dint even show any fighting spirit in the last match against Sri Lanka.
No one in the team seems to be brave enough to take the ownership. Chapell is very smart to put the blame on the selectors. Since two years the selectors have danced at his tunes have rhymed with his experiments, and the man is got the mouth to say that the selectors did not do their jobproperly. Ganguly was dropped from the team eighteen months back and also lost his captaincy for only one reason of his non performance with his willow. He was called as the Cancer to the team. But what is Sehwag doing? why is he getting Chance after chance without his dance? The answer my friend is blown in the Wind.
The other day i was reading an article in 'times Of India' Sports section writtin by 'Chandresh Narayanan' , this man has a written off Ganguly and has supported Dravid as the future Captain . after the entire world cup fiasco i am surprised that some of us still have faith in David. No wonder he is a Technically sound Batsman and a great player, however the Agression and passion to win a game is missing in him.Ganguly has that. I bilieve with Ajay Jadeja when he said Ganguly could be given the captainncy provided he is given a tenure of twelve months, and is asked to make a strong team in terms of winning spirit and agression and also make a new captain who can takeover from him. I think Ganguly will do his job well.
And coming back to the "Black world Cup" it is truly sad that a Coach like Bob Woolmer was murdered. The sadest part is that Cricket is no more just a sport, it is a mixture of politics , favouritism , Underworld and not to forget a huge platform to gain stardom and earn big sum from TV Ads and Brand endorsements. Our players must learn that they are what they are for the game and for representing our country.

Surprises!!!

Sometimes life is full of surprises big or small, but when it is a surprise speacially if is a good one it makes you smile. But what if the surprise is heading towards the negative aspects, then it really brings a frown in your face.

Yesterday in KBC Shahrukh Surprised everyone by gifting all the contestants A Santro , even though i was only a a Viewer of the show, i could actually feel the surprise and the happiness one was going through at that moment of time, It was a Moment of Truth. And Sharukh has a great way of presenting the show.Although Shahrukh and Amitabh can never be compared as they are legends in their own territory. If Shahrukh is The Badshah Of Love and Romance Amitabh is The Shehenshah of Action And a Great Voice.If Amitabh was a perfect Blend of Class and Humbleness, On the other hand Shahrukh has this personal touch which makes his Hosting so human. The way he said on the show" Life Sometimes brings big surprises", He sounded as if he really meant it and how happy he was to be the one to bring that surprise in the contestant's lives. The enthu and Zest was like the Great wave of the Ocean that comes to the shore and wipes away all the dirt and impression on the sand Beach. I am waiting for one , I hope someday i get that kind of a Surprise ,As of now my life is like the Beach that people have dirtied and left their impressions by fingering their own likes and dislikes.

Ashamed!!!!

Ashamed!! arent we ???? two years of false promises, two years of false practices and two years of waste , misleading the team with unnecessary experiments. Our indian team has truly let us down. With all the hype that they get,all the money spent on them considering that BCCI is the richest Cricket Board in the world, the amount of love and passion that they get from the Indian Nation. Sehwag, Sachin and Rahul and ofcourse "The Slipper" (Chappel) have given us the defeat and not to mention the knockout from the tournament. Anyways, yesterdays day was realy shamefull for me personally too. we all knowingly/unknowingly do things to which we are shamefull sometime or the other.
As every day i got up at 12.00 in the noon , what was different?? yes the Call that woke me up. another Man from collections calling me to pay my bills. I am really tired of these calls. it seems like there is no end to this. first HDFC then ICICI, Then Citibank.Anyways the mistake is mine. I was the one who owe them money. I politely offerred him a call back as i was still in half asleep trying to sulk in to the fact that another day has just begun after a two day holiday. A sick feeling creapt into my mind and a strong Urge developed to bunk the office. I got ready , Had my lunch, quickly brushed through the News Paper and finally stepped out for work. As I was standing at the bus stop waiting endlessly for the Bus and Smoking to my glory i thought of calling up the collections Agent as i had promised him earlier. I had spoken to him earlier about the same matter he was linient with me, this time he was a bit stern and assertive, Its not his fault, he was just doing his job, And afterall it was all my fault to have landed up in a pit of debt. I am really tired of all this now. first it was HDFC then ICICI and Now it is Citibank and there is no end to it. Already it is no more a secret with my parents , they have come to know about it a long time back, and hence they are upset with me. I am tired of all the fights that we are having because of all this. Back to Yesterday---- I was really tensed about how could i return the Rs5000 instalment. I Had a Cheque of Rs1800.00 As a Demand draft from my SBI mutual Funds Dividend and i had to arrange for another Rs3200.
There was a time not too long ago when i had a High Self Esteem and i was completely independent in terms of Monetary support, but sometimes you make mistakes and then life gets the chance to make you do things that you would never want to do. It was my last resot, i called up a friend of mine who stays alone without any family support although i did not want to cuse any trouble forher. The moment i asked for the favour she politely refused it however, she messaged me after somethime saying that she was able to help. I was flabbergasted, it was like a fresh breath of air.
I was in the bus when i saw an old friend of mine riding his bike to the office. He is a Nepali guy but has a strong Bengali Influence. The sight of his reminded me of those days in Hewitt when we used to greet each other by saying " Oh Dada Tumi Boka Koto? Ami Boka Tero" The other would reply " Ami Boka Ponero Harsha Boka Choddo" The Calcuttans would understand what is the joke all about. I felt like talking to him. the last thing i had heard from him was that he was happy that his wife was Pregnant and the Baby was due in the Month of March.As i called him he answered my call with an extremely low tone, could make out that something has happened that he is not happy about, I asked him When am i getting the good news?" to which he replied " The Baby is aborted due to some complications." I ws dejected and taken a back, dint know what to tell him. still we spoke about here and ther and after i finished the call i was thinking about how happy he was when he had got the news that his wife is Pregnant and that he had brought some nice Bengali sweets for us and For me he had specially brought two. I Reached Officeand by this time i was allthe More sure that i would not work today.
I saw my TL walking towards me i did not know what to tell, but i certainly wanted to make up a story. For a moment i thought I would tell him something like "My mom is not well and i would like to Go back, she just called me out of Pain". But i thought that is unethical reason and that does not sound good specially when i think of my Mother's innocent face. I Just wanted to get out go Back Home and watch the India Vs Shrilanka Worlcup Fixture life on television. I just walked up to him and i said. My " My Friend Called me from Bangalore , His wife is Pregnant and she is getting Labour Pains and that she is in Mumbai with her mother she needs some monetary help and support , So i would need to attend them immidiately as my friend cannot make it and that he is trying to catch a flight ASAP>" My TL was Petrified hearing this, already there were two people who were not comming yesterday due to some emergency and i would have been the third absenty. I somehow managed to win an Argument with him and i left the Office premises and headed towards the company transport providing a Drop back to Vashi. as i was about to step in to the Bus I suddenly thought of my friend who Just had been through a tragedy of not been able to have a Baby, I thought of My Mother's innocent face. I thought of a friend who has helped me today, A sudden willingness to work was lightening inside me, There was a new hope and new expectations flying high. I felt after all the troubles i have been through of being in Debt , of Loosing friends and gaining mistrust from my Parents , my friend loosing his unborn kid is a much greater tragedy and my trouble or trauma is nothing in front of his, i was ashamed of what i was abot to do.. i just stepped back went upstairs, and walked towards the Bay that were were scheduled to sit. My TL saw me comming from far , A sudden change in his expression was clearly visible, the man who was tensed about achieving the target with Short Staffing was delighted of me comming back. I just walked up to him and i said" Its Taken Care Of. I am Logging in" I logged in early and did well as compared to the other days. we also had a lot of fun on the floor with Facepainting cheering our own Indian Team who was playing and cracking practical jokes on each other during the downtime.. ......
Finally When we got the result of India being Knocked out of the tournament i was glad that i did not Bunkkk!!!!!!!
